Your donated dress can change the life of a teenage girl and her baby.

We will be having a huge, one day sale of all the donated dresses early this Spring, just in time for Prom/Formal season. The dresses will all be on sale for a very low, set price; and all proceeds will go towards helping teen moms through YoungLives. What is YoungLives? Keep reading.....

Young Lives - Northwest Austin

Northwest Austin YoungLives provides a safe, loving and fun environment where teen moms can meet and build friendships with other girls in their shoes. YoungLives gatherings are a place of crazy humor and creative activities - not to mention free food and childcare. Most importantly it is a place where teen moms can discover who they are in a non-judgemental, caring environment.

YoungLives connects teen moms with mature, Christian women to help them navigate through life with ongoing emotional and spiritual support, as well as practical advice and friendship. We can also help these new moms by meeting physical needs and helping with things like maternity clothes, car seats, strollers and baby furniture.

Finally, YoungLives sponsors a week long summer camp where the girls can be teenagers, have crazy fun and relax. They have the opportunity to explore spiritual beliefs with their mentors and peers and find out more about their idea of God. They even get to bring their babies, because a team of child care volunteers provide nurturing, quality care right there on site.

We STILL need your dresses!

Now that the holidays are over and 2010 is here, its a perfect time to go through your closets and get rid of your old dresses. We are still collecting dresses and will be through February.

PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF 250 DRESSES DONATED BY THE END OF FEBRUARY.
